Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Arriving Delhi - The capital
of India. Meet and Greet at the Airport. Transfer to Hotel for check in. Over
night at Hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi
After Break fast, proceed for
full day combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi visiting Qutub Minar,
Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President House, Red Fort, Jama Masjid,
Rajghat. Evening witness "Sound & Light" show at Red Fort to get
a glimpse of the History of the Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 -
Delhi / Agra
After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drive down
to Agra. On arrival, check in into the Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing
tour of Agra city visiting the famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the
world. The Taj Mahal was built in memory of Shah Jehan's wife Mumtaz Mahal who
died after 17 years of marriage. It is a monument, which has drawn upon the creativity
and skills of engineers and craftsmen from many parts of the world. Then we will
visit to Agra Fort, which was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed by
his grandson, Shah Jehan. The fort walls, stretching over 2.5 km are surrounded
by a 10-meter wide moat. Overnight at hotel.
Day
4 - Agra / Jaipur
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel and proceed
for Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is also known as The "Pink City"
because of the predominance of buildings in pink.en route you will visit the abandoned
city, Fatehpur Sikri was one of the capital cities of Emperor Akbar. It is a town
complete with caravan serais, gardens, country yards and bathhouses, besides the
hall of public audience and hall of special audience. On arrival, check in into
the Hotel. After noon you will proceed on a Jaipur city tour visiting the Sawai
Jai Singh Observatory and City Palace - known for stunning architecture, was the
principal residence of the former ruling family. Next to Hawa Mahal, which means
the "Palace of the Winds", is a multi-layered palace with a profusion
of windows and stone screens, built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. Overnight
at Hotel.
Day 5 - Jaipur
After Break fast, proceed for visiting
Amber Fort, the ancient capital of Rajasthan and the majestic palace complex to
witness a unique system of air-conditioning of 17th century. The most enthralling
experience of Amber Fort is an elephant-ride and the gaily-decorated ride. After
lunch, free for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 - Jaipur
Breakfast at Hotel, and day free to stroll the colorful Market for shopping till
evening.Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 - Jaipur / Jodhpur
Drive
to Jodhpur (285 kms - 5.5 hours). In the afternoon explore Jodhpur, once the capital
of Marwar, situated in the heart of Thar desert. Visit the massive Mehrangarh
Fort, filled with courtyard, palaces and museums, constantly reminding you of
the city's glorious past.
Day 8 - Jodhpur / Udaipur
Continue
to the lake city of Udaipur (260 kms - 6 hours). Along the way stop at the Ranakpur
Jain Temples, one of the biggest and most important ancient Jain sect temple complexes
in India. Built in 1439 it has 29 marble halls supported by 1444 carved pillars,
none of which are alike. Enjoy hot lunch at Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat before
proceeding for Udaipur.
Day
9 - Udaipur
Begin your day with a visit to the vast and exquisite City
Palace and its museum, followed by Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari. Later
in the evening enjoy a scenic sunset cruise on Lake Pichola as you pass by numerous
island palaces, gleaming in the sun, reflecting an era of pomp and glory.
Day 9 - Udaipur / Delhi
This morning take an excursion to Eklingji,
a beautiful white marble Shiva temple, and Nagda, the site of two eleventh century
temples ornamented with beautiful carvings.
Its now time to bid farewell
to this romantic city as you board your flight in the evening bound for New Delhi.
Upon arrival you will be assisted to the international terminal for your onward
flight.
